New Era of Digital Accessibility Webinar
Introduction
In March of 2017, the University of California at Berkeley announced that they were removing all inaccessible digital media from their websites in response to an order from the U.S. Justice Department to “make the educational content accessible to people with disabilities” (Straumsheim 2017).

This training will provide:
- a brief overview of the history of accessibility in higher education;
- a brief overview of the current status of accessibility in higher education;
- a question and answer session about issues of accessibility in higher education;
- resources for further reading.
